Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for an experienced E-2D Avionics Technician (AT) for the VX-20 E-2D Field Support Team.  This position will be located in Patuxent River, MD.  Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations. Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations. Extensive knowledge of diagnoses and repair of the E-2D Radar and EMIRS systems. Ability to perform removals and installations of upgraded system components as directed by NGC and ITT engineering.  

Basic Qualifications:

• AA or other 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 4 years of related experience with E-2D Radar and TARA systems. In lieu of a degree, an additional 2 years of experience with E-2D Radar and TARA systems may be acceptable.
• Experience as CDI and the ability to support operations IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2. 
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; interim Secret clearance is required to start​​.

Salary Range: $74,900.00 - $124,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
