We’re on the hunt for a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning  on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role :

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning assists in the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly forecasts and budgets for Satellite Systems - Montreal. Once these activities are completed, financial performance monitoring and evaluation are required.

Tasks :

Supports the preparation of:

1. Monthly P&L and forecast
2. Monthly governance reports
3. Monthly Overhead reports and Quarterly forecast for overhead
4. SR&ED Quarterly forecast, annual claim and audits, if required
5. Responsible of Government grants claims
6. Yearly budget for Programs, Cash flow, OH and SR&ED
7. Revenue Recognition documentation, including preparation, Corporate approvals and support to auditors
8. Annual Rate Package
9. Ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling, as required

Qualifications required :

• Minimum 5 - 7 years related financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in the aerospace industry
• CPA designation
• Must be able to analyse and understand the operations, as well as the key drivers of the business
• Requires knowledge of IFRS, cost management, financial planning and analysis models
• Functions well independently with minimal supervision
• Effective problem-solving capabilities
• Must demonstrate timeliness, detail and deadline-orientation
• Must be PC-literate, with a concentration on spreadsheets, modelling and graphic software

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
