Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic Engineering Aide Senior Specialist to join the Satellite Engineering, Operations & Sustainment Support (SEOSS) Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) team in Sunnyvale, California.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
• Participate in technical development projects and hardware refresh efforts
• Serving as the primary point of contact for Configuration Management
• Primary point of contact for classified Open Storage Area (OSA) access request and classified accounts request
• Primary meeting coordinator for bi-weekly scrums and board meetings
• Security coordination with Program Security and Cybersecurity
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to work onsite in a closed laboratory environment
• Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
• Experience in resource management and tracking systems like Atlassian Jira
• Experience organizing and leading program level meetings
• Experience with technical documentation and configuration management tools such as Git and Code Collaborator

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and thorough
• Capable of communication through presentations, meetings, and technical documents
• Organized- Ability to handle multiple tasks and organize resources to ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Self-starter-Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted
• Experience with technical project management
• Agile Methodology experience
• Technical orientation and proven track record to learn technical concepts
• Previous STEM coursework
• Experience designing and producing digital graphics using computer software applications
• Experience in coding languages (R, Linux, Unix, VBA, Python)
• Experience in data mining, including machine learning and AI tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
• Active DoD Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
