We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our team in the Westminster, CO office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence processes to assess the viability, risks, and opportunities associated with customers, suppliers, partners, and other business opportunities. This role is also responsible for vetting in-bound and out-bound travel requests and other Compliance program operations management. 

What you will do day to day:

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence assessments on potential business opportunities, including legal, financial and regulatory aspects. 

  • Analyze publicly-available information, contracts, and other relevant documents to identify potential risks and opportunities related to Maxar Intelligence’s third parties, agents, employees and consultants. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for due diligence processes. 

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for key stakeholders. 

  • Develop and maintain due diligence frameworks, templates, and tools to streamline processes and reduce Compliance risk. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to due diligence processes. 

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on due diligence findings to support the business’s decision-making processes. 

  • Review and assess in-bound and out-bound travel requests with cross-functional stakeholders. 

  • Support internal audits of various Compliance-related programs throughout the business. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. 

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) administering due diligence processes, preferably in aerospace or other defense contractor industries.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex information and data. Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and balance business needs. 

  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and support multi-jurisdictional trade compliance and third-party investigations (including scoping, auditing, interviewing, etc.) and prepare reports for internal stakeholders or government agencies.  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle discreet and sensitive matters. 

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software/tools.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$93,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually.


 

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
