We are hiring immediately for a Transition Manager to join our team in Westminster, CO.  

What you will do day to day: 

  • Build productive internal/external working relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Understand what relationships and mechanisms are necessary for the success of transition, design communications solutions as needed. 

  • With your experience in a Mission Operations Center or Satellite Operations Center, you will know how to effectively serve as a liaison between operations and programs (sometimes development) for the transition of new tools and technologies into operations. Serve as the voice of the operators during development, ensuring 2-way communication between operators, developers, product owners, and initiative teams. 

  • Develop and maintain a solid awareness/understanding of the processes, systems, and needs of operations as it pertains to specific capabilities or customers. 

  • Facilitate workshops and conversations on a scale of easy/simple to difficult/complicated in order to execute on the ORDI deliverable commitment inclusive of workflow development, escalation path documentation, impact assessments, readiness review briefs, and training. 

  • Problem-solve as needed based on an understanding of strategic ConOps design, user needs, business needs, incident management procedures, and best practices. 

  • Work with Technical Writer to galvanize the engagement necessary for the completion of technical documentation deliverables required for your assigned stakeholder teams.   

  • Maintain detailed documentation of work in progress both for collaboration as well as building operator awareness of status and progress. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and processes to maintain consistency and quality with project delivery. Document and raise risks, issues, and dependencies with relevant team members.     

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be willing and able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Management or related field. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. 

  • Demonstrated experience working in customer service, account management with speed  

  • A minimum of 5 years of related space operations experience and one or more years of experience working in a Mission Operations Center or Satellite Operations Center Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to navigate complex issues and rally stakeholders toward finding solutions and compromises 

  • Honed ability to manage multiple projects in a single timeframe, identify and lead prioritization discussions as necessary, communicate effectively about outcomes. 

  • Strong organizational skills with relentless, creative, and resourceful follow-up skills and tactics. 

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills in both a live and remote environment. 

  • Skilled in process development and workshop facilitation. 

  • Comfort working with and guiding teams through ambiguity and uncertainty. 

  • Knowledge of operations training, including curriculum development and delivery. 

  • Basic understanding of change management approaches and critical success factors. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

These skills would be amazing:  

  • Process development, six-sigma, or continuous improvement experience. 

  • Software implementation experience. 

  • Basic understanding of customer operations software and associated systems. 

  • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation. 

  • Agile or SAFE Agile certification. 

  • SharePoint or content management skills.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$74,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually.
