Boeing team is currently looking for an Experienced Data Engineer to join their team in Chennai, India. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.  

As a Data Scientist specializing in NLP, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced algorithms and models to extract valuable insights from unstructured data. This role requires proficiency in NLP, machine learning, SQL, and Python, along with strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Position Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
•    Retrieve, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
•    Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and visualize data in a meaningful way, presenting findings to stakeholders.
•    Data Preprocessing and Cleaning: Ensure the quality and accuracy of large volumes of structured and unstructured data using SQL.
•    Feature Engineering: Create relevant features from raw data using Python and SQL to enhance model performance.
•    Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, particularly in the context of NLP is required.
•    Develop and implement cutting-edge NLP models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, text classification, named entity recognition, and topic modeling.
•    Model Evaluation and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of NLP models, iterating on improvements based on performance metrics.
•    Collaborate in the design and implementation of data collection systems, ensuring high-quality data capture.
•    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and eCommerce. Keep abreast of the latest developments in NLP, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
•    Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•    A four-year Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a Basic Qualification.
•    Minimum of 10+ year of professional experience, preferably in the eCommerce domain.
•    Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
•    Familiarity with NLP libraries and frameworks, such as NLTK, SpaCy, or TensorFlow.
•    Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and statistical models.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    A four-year Bachelor's degree or higher is required

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g, Master’s + 9 Years of experience).
