Qualifications:

  • US citizenship and a Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline.

  • 3+ years of systems engineering experience of space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Programs.

  • Can work onsite at Boulder at least 2-3 days weekly and onsite at Buckley as needed.

  • Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter-service support agreements.

  • Experience with managing traceability of requirements, developing testable criteria, system validation and verification, and analysis.

  • System Administrator, or system test background that can conduct system/network configuration management.

  • Ability to define, develop, maintain, large scale system specifications, capability requirements, and acquisition documentation.

  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.

  • Can run Power Shell scripts to ensure the baseline integrity.

Nice If You Have:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance.

  • Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).

  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems.

  • Experience with planning and executing program reviews throughout the lifecycle of the system.

  • Experience with VMware, RHEL, Openshift Container Platform.

  • Experience with physical and virtual networking.

  • Experience with Powershell scripting.

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps process automation.

  • Knowledge of missile warning mission and SBIRS.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.
