What does this role look like?


The Integrated Logistics & Ops Excellence Director provides leadership and direct oversight to a team of leaders across a number of functions, including: Transportation Services, Logistics, Material Handling, and Property Management as well as a number of functions that support the Operations Functional Organization holistically, including Integrated Workforce Planning, Operational Excellence Teams (OETs) and the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP).




This role will offer you the following daily challenges:



This role leads several high-impact areas that impact our employee and stakeholder experience within and outside of Operations. Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead the Transportation services organization, responsible for critical moves, large material movement, and property management.
• Lead the Logistics team, shaping future management practices such as lean processes, data analytics, and capacity planning. Additionally, responsible for inventory including stockrooms and small critical material movement.
• Lead centralized workforce planning for Operations, to include coordination on demand planning with the LOBs, enhancing staffing and onboarding efficiencies, and building a broader strategy around hiring critical skills areas and in hard to hire locations such as Courtland in partnership with Human Resources.
• Lead stakeholder experience for Operations, to include creation and execution of a stakeholder engagement strategy with the LOBs to enable Operations integration within E&T, the LOBs, S&BD and other key functional areas. Lead engagement strategy for Operations employees, to include response to key survey and focus groups results around process improvement, agility, and other key drivers of the employee experience.
• Lead strategic projects, to include process improvement, firm fixed price mindset, workforce empowerment, common metrics as a part of the enterprise stand down actions, and other key deliverables across Operations.
• Provides functional support to all Lines of Business, Programs and Major Functional Organization both domestic and international.
• Lead the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) for Space, in coordination with Business Areas across Lockheed Martin, as well as leading the Operational Excellence Teams (OET) organization, designed for process improvement within the Operations Functional Organization and capturing the voice of the employee for our touch labor populations.


This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Senior leadership experience leading a Multi-functional organization
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across MFO/LOBs
• Demonstrated experience in cost and schedule management
• Demonstrated experience in change management and ability to influence key stakeholder in key decisions across multiple organizations
• Exhibits full spectrum leadership behaviors including accountability, delivering results, and building relationships
• Must possess an enterprise-level perspective and process improvement mindset
• Experience with change management and customer/stakeholder engagement
• Ability to travel ~25%
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET w/SCI clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $300,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
