Maxar is seeking a Senior-level Geospatial Analyst for the Special Operations Component Command: North. In this position, you will provide of multi-discipline, multi-INT analysts developing innovative, front-line products that provide actionable intelligence for decision makers in the field. Maxar enables the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and its allies to better monitor, understand and respond to global events, deter threats and ensure global security. Together, the many elements of Maxar can help the DOD meet its far-reaching modernization goals, maintain decision advantage, and rapidly identify and predict change. Your skills and experience will add value to Maxar's advanced expertise in machine learning, computer vision, crowdsourcing, software engineering and geospatial analysis to enable USSOCOM and its component commands to rapidly sift through massive amounts of geospatial data to reveal actionable insight.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide multi-discipline analysis that develops in-depth, high-quality, illustrative products supporting Special Operations Command North (SOCNORTH).

  • Review outputs/products to ensure accuracy and quality assurance.

  • Collect, aggregate, and exploit various spatial data from classified, commercial, volunteered geographic information (VGI) and remote sensing sources.

  • Develop and maintain a geodatabases containing disparate types of spatial data, which will enable the development of deliverables that provide increased analytical insight.

  • Apply various types of geospatial analytic techniques (i.e. network analysis, spatial distribution, raster math).

  • Craft custom geospatial analytic workflows that address mission requirements and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems.

  • Experience with the various geo-processing functions.

  • Experience with data management, and data visualization techniques.

  • Must be willing to work on customer site.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with All-Source or SIGINT analysis.

  • GISP certification.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.
