EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Plumber in our Hughes Network Systems division to assist engineers with the preventative and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems. This position will be located in our Germantown, MD office.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of plumbing systems.
• Ability to cut, bend, fit, thread and join piping and tubing practices.
• Manage temperature controls systems.
• Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support our three (3) facilities in Montgomery County
• Be "On-Call" which rotates for one (1) week approximately every four (4) weeks

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• CFC Certified
• 3-5 years of experience with knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair techniques to commercial plumbing fixtures
• Current valid driver’s license.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to climb ladders
• Lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman Plumbing License highly preferred.
• Service truck experience highly preferred
