We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team at Kepler. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that our incoming materials are of acceptable quality to build with, and that our outgoing products are of an acceptable quality to ship.

Responsibilities:

Perform visual inspection of electronic parts such as PCBAs and PCBs to identify any defects
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings and specifications.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings, including photographs, test data, and written reports.
Collaborate with production, manufacturing and quality teams to address quality concerns
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and work instructions to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an electronics Quality Inspector or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
A college or trade diploma or university degree in a related field is desired.
Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant certifications (ASQ-CQI, CQT, IPC-A-610 etc.)
Proficiency in using metrological inspection tools and knowledge of sampling
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, sampling plans and quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to work under minimal guidance, adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
Experience with wire harnessing and crimping, particularly to aerospace standards would be a bonus.
