We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team at Kepler. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that our incoming materials are of acceptable quality to build with, and that our outgoing products are of an acceptable quality to ship.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection of electronic parts such as PCBAs and PCBs to identify any defects
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings and specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings, including photographs, test data, and written reports.
  • Collaborate with production, manufacturing and quality teams to address quality concerns
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and work instructions to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an electronics Quality Inspector or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • A college or trade diploma or university degree in a related field is desired.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant certifications (ASQ-CQI, CQT, IPC-A-610 etc.)
  • Proficiency in using metrological inspection tools and knowledge of sampling
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, sampling plans and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under minimal guidance, adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Experience with wire harnessing and crimping, particularly to aerospace standards would be a bonus.
