Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Finance Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located at the Roy, UT campus. This position is supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division Financial Planning and Reporting Organization.

Candidate will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:

  • Lead the SDS forecasting process with emphasis on accuracy and predictability

  • Responsible for monthly forecast and status updates related to income statement, awards, and backlog

  • Prepare the rolling forecast monthly deliverables and variance reports.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial deliverables related to quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC)

  • Prepare the Division EAC scorecard report.

  • Validate profit plans are aligned with quarterly EACs and trouble-shoot errors and course corrections.

  • Ensure timely and accurate EAC deliverables from SDS Business Units.

  • Prepare and validate backlog adjustments and total division backlog are accurate.

  • Lead annual backlog reviews and validations on closed programs.

  • Support Deloitte SOX and internal audits

  • Maintain accurate financial SOX controls and artifacts.

  • Continually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies

  • Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters; in lieu of formal degree – 4 additional years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in Cognos, including PAX

  • Proficient in S4 accounting system

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $142,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
