Summary:

The Master Planner is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule attainmentThey will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of departments and teams in a manufacturing and production environment. Their primary duties will include scheduling activities, ensuring engineering deliverables are aligned to the production schedule, develop production strategies and setting production targets.  The individual will work closely with the Supply Chain organization to ensure that materials are available to attain targets

Duties and Responsibilities:​ 

  • Thorough and in-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning 
  • Creating and maintaining detailed master production and material plans for the product line to use in driving Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and planning production capacity to support SOP 
  • Run and controls MRP in order to guarantee the required production flexibility and reach the targeted inventory levels 
  • Addresses the procedure from initial data collection and analysis to MRP generation. 
  • Load the forecast data into MRP  
  • Produces and distributes the build plan to the Contract Manufacturers taking MRP results and CM flexibility constraints into account 
  • Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for problem solving obtaining results 
  • Introduces and integrates new technologies and/or new processes, as needed 
  • Manages raw materials inventory levels 
  • Develop and maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements 
  • Manage daily activities of the Production Control Team 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree in BA\BS in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or 7 years of equivalent experience. 
  • Experience in ERP Software, familiarity with NetSuite programs is a plus 
  • Mastery of MS Office and Excel for efficient data communication, Power Bi is a plus 
  • Familiarity with MES software  
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, and management. 
  • Comfortable presenting in front of small to medium sized groups 
  • Outstanding business acumen commercial and financial understanding 
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate/possess strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ensure best practice methods are established and utilized using documented Standard Work Instructions
