Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a System Integration Lab Engineer or Principal System Integration Lab Engineer.  This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

 

What You’ll Get To Do: 

 

Design, Develop and Integrate hardware and software for the System Integration Labs (SILs). Work with mechanical and electrical test engineering teams to build, certify and operate the SILs. This position is for a systems test engineer to support the development of the SILs.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

 

Job Qualifications:  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

System Integration Lab Engineer: 

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 0 years with a Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

Principal System Integration Lab Engineer: 

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required for both levels: 

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification. 

  • Experience with designing and using data acquisition systems 

 

 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: 

  • US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification. 

  • Experience with 3D modeling software 

  • Experience with authoring test procedures

Salary Range: $68,500.00 - $102,700.00Salary Range 2: $84,200.00 - $126,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
