Description:IAM Hourly represented employees who currently work at the main (Sunnyvale/Palo Alto) unit, Santa Cruz, Vandenburg Air Force Base or Eastern Range facilities must apply to open requisitions on Brass Ring to be considered for the position.

This entry level classification requires the performance of work described in the Painter, Code 481-5, job description under the guidance and direction of leads and manufacturing engineer and supervisor the work under progressively diminishing guidance to a point where the Trainee can demonstrate the ability to independently perform application of prime, protective and finish coatings of lacquer, enamel or similar paints, typically on interior surfaces of missiles and all surfaces of other Company products using spray equipment or brushes.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and other authorized documents and use simple measuring devices.
• Ability to use arithmetic, including addition and subtraction of decimals and fractions.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
