Duties

  • Provide analysis of programmatic plans (integration of schedule, risk, and budget), identifying potential issues to ensure effective and efficient program management.
  • Integrate the results of several programmatic products across the Exploration Ground Systems Program including Earned Value Management (EVM), Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), or Joint Budget/Schedule Confidence Levels (JCL).
  • Prepare for and lead monthly and quarterly program integration meetings with EGS senior management for reporting to the Artemis Moon to Mars Program Office and other agency stakeholders.
  • Represent the program, along with the program's Audit Liaison Representatives, to external auditors including those from the Government Accountability Office and NASA Inspector General.
  • Support Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Programs programmatic (schedule, risk, and budget) effort in compliance with NPR 7120.5, NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Requirements.
  • Provide liaison functions to independent assessment teams, interfacing, planning, and coordinating to ensure successful reviews of program activities.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
  • Analyzing programmatic plans (schedule, risk, or budget) to identify or remediate potential issues; or
  • Developing and presenting integrated programmatic products, such as schedule, risk, or budget information; or
  • Developing, supporting, or independently reviewing formal programmatic reviews to provide recommendations for improvement.
