Working in the Operations Team

The Operations team drives the delivery of our space mission services, connecting the technologies developed in house by the Tech team, the requirements from our customers and the tools and support of external key partners and suppliers.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be leading our digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, establishing a long-term company wide IT strategy. This is a vertical role, taking key decisions shaping our IT landscape, overseeing company systems and putting in place necessary processes to manage cybersecurity and data risks. Liaising with external IT services, contractors and being their main point of contact in order to establish our company policies. Your goal is to achieve efficient and reliable system operations across our offices in the UK, Spain, and Portugal, whilst supporting our growing remote workforce.

You’ll need: 

• Applied knowledge of cybersecurity risk management and the ability to review common security concerns whilst providing practical solutions on how to overcome them.
• The ability to Identify continuous improvement changes for internal business systems, for all installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting queries.
• To lead the implementation of new technology to ensure compliance with a strong focus on good change management principles. 
• To be capable of  automation strategies in order to increase the efficiency of our systems.

• Highly competent in Linux and Windows system administration alongside Expertise in managing Google Workspace, Azure AD and/or Microsoft Entra.
• User focus - actively thinks like a user, keeping their expectations in focus to deliver outstanding service within the parameters of the role.
• Fluent in English, ability to express themselves in a clear manner and without ambiguity.
