We use controlled-environment technology to mimic a multitude of conditions to allow plants, fungi and microorganisms to grow faster and better.On Earth, we are pioneering molecular and bio-farming, boosting production of nutrients, metabolites and bioactive compounds in plants while providing a sustainable and safe source of plant materials. Our customers are large beauty, perfume, natural ingredients, food&beverage and neutraceuticals companies. 

To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the development of our "BIOSUIT" department. We are looking for a Fashion Designer specialized in 3D modeling and printing to join our innovative team in the creation of our Biosuit. 

You will be at the heart of the design, development and prototyping of our suits and accessories for our users. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our lead designer in creating and implementing designs. You will be involved in various stages of the design process, from conceptualization to finalization.

We focus on usage and place the user at the heart of the product's design to guarantee a match between objectives and results, as well as improved and optimal usage performance. 

Using biomaterials, cutting and sewing technique,  3D modeling and 3D printing techniques to create innovative, functional, technical, eco-responsible, circular designs... 

Designing and producing in a sensible and reasonable way. 

RESPONSABILITIES

• Assisting lead designer in creating and implementing designs
• Participating in various stages of the design process ( Design, development, and prototyping ) 
• Use 3D modeling software. 
• Good knowledge of materials, cutting and sewing techniques 
• Create prototypes and sample,  using 3D printers for realistic, innovative rendering.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure feasibility of designs and quality of finished products.
• Contributing to the overall success of our projects
• Understanding and applying design principles
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
• Creation de patronage, jusqu’au montage complet de nos vêtements.

PROFILE

• Degree in fashion design, industrial design or related field
• Professional experience as a clothing designer, technical clothing, with expertise in 3D modeling and printing
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as CLO3D, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Blender
• Knowledge of 3D printing techniques and bio-materials used in the textile industry
• Creativity, aesthetic sense and ability to innovate.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
