Gate Guard

Summary:

The Gate Guard will monitor the access and surveillance of the manufacturing facility.

Gate Guard pay starts at $22-$23/hour. Additionally, the second shift includes a night shift differential increase of 10%.

Work is conducted in both indoor office settings, and outdoor job site settings. Environmental conditions will vary. This is a full-time position. Expectation is to be available for day shifts and/or night shifts. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guards entrance gate of manufacturing location to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds
• Opens gate to allow entrance or exit of employees, truckers and authorized visitors.
• Checks credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone.
• Directs visitors and truckers to various parts of grounds or buildings.
• Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.
• Records number of trucks and/or individuals entering and leaving.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Drivers License.
• US Citizen, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours/day.
