ispace Technologies, US is a looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior RF Communications Engineer to join its new team.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop Lunar Lander RF Communications architecture and requirements.
Partner with GNC, Flight Software and Systems Integration to develop on-orbit and lunar surface CONOPs as it relates to uplink and downlink communication.
Develop and manage RF link budget across all phases of the mission.
Support design and analysis for packaging of RF assemblies including CAD work.
Participate in all program milestones including trade studies, design reviews, software and hardware-level test, and on-orbit operations.
Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (antennas, filters, PCB layout) to design and evaluate performance.
Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics . We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Extensive experience in design & optimization of RF circuits and structures including antennas, transmission lines, filters, impedance matching networks, couplers, power splitters and combiners, phase shifters, amplifiers, receivers, and transmitters.
5+ years of relevant work experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft Avionics systems .
Experience with simulation and programming tools (ex. Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python.)
Ability to perform RF communication design and analysis tasks, and support mission operations.
Familiarity with project management tools, including Atlassian.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics . We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Demonstrated professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft RF Communications.
Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
Experience with 3D CAD (Solidworks, NX, or similar) and electrical schematic capture software.
Extensive experience with Matlab & Simulink.
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Experience working for Aerospace/Space Prime or sub-contractor strongly preferred.
Experience in startup environment a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary based upon experience - $145,000 - $165,000. The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position.  Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
