LMDS has an opening for a Senior Supply Chain Advisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will an on-site position, preferably in our Chandler, AZ office location. However, this position may also report on-site to our Huntsville, AL, Promontory, UT, or Magna, UT locations.
Job Description
As a Staff Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist you will have a critical role in supporting the supply chain organization. The selected candidate will review, analyze, interpret, and draft strategic agreements. Position will require complex negotiations with our strategic and critical suppliers to establish favorable contractual positions and to settle disputes.
Candidate will liaise with the Law Department, Programs, Supply Chain, and Engineering to foster long and short-term business relationships with our supply base. Individual will need to be adaptable and ready and willing to work on long term strategic and risk avoidance initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in U.S. Government supply chain, contracts, legal support or a related field; or 13 years’ experience with a Masters, MBA
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Law School
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S security clearance is required
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis and negotiation of complex contractual terms and conditions, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
