ispace Technologies, US is a looking for a highly motivated and talented Propulsion Test Engineer to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

Rapidly design, build, and operate high pressure fluid system test stands in a clean room environment.
Design and execute test plans to evaluate the performance of a hypergolic propulsion system.
Conduct performance testing, data analysis, and validation of propulsion components and systems.
Collaborate with design and systems engineering teams to optimize propulsion system performance.
Develop and maintain test procedures, safety protocols, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to propulsion system testing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and project meetings.
Provide technical expertise and support during the integration and testing phases of the propulsion system development and flight build.

Basic Qualifications

BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
2+ years of experience in spacecraft and/or launch vehicle propulsion systems
Strong knowledge of propulsion system design, development, and testing.
Experience with data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and test equipment.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with lunar or space mission propulsion systems.
Knowledge of hypergolic propellants and their handling.
Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols for propulsion testing.
Experience with common industry standards for spacecraft structural and mechanical design, test and integration; including, but not limited to, AIAA S-080, AIAA S-081, NASA-STD-5001, NASA-STD-5017 & SMC-S-016.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary based upon experience - $95,000 - $105,000.The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position.  Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
