We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role is part of the Lunar Transportation business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable space flight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin’s vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.

As the Lunar Pumps Vertical Integration Technical Project Manager you will report directly to the Fluids Prop Integrated Product Team Manager to improve the overall execution of the team. You will spearhead developing new cryogenic pump manufacturing capabilities. In this role you will be given a manufacturing capability that is desired. From there you will research options, size the development and production capability based on demand and bandwidth. You will evaluate facility options, generate tooling lists, aggregate build and test requirements, and formulate a proposal. You will then coordinate review and responses to actions with stakeholders and reach approval. Then the responsibility will shift to standing up the capability, coordinating facility space/renovation, supporting hiring, specifying equipment etc. You will act as the project manager, delivering a fully functional internal manufacturing capability.

You will be the primary liaison between the Lunar Fluids/Prop team and the supporting organizations within Blue Origin that will complete the tasks needed to deliver these critical internal capabilities.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to join our team and positively impact safe human spaceflight. This is a chance to leave your fingerprints on the history of spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
