Summary
 
Redwire – Albuquerque is seeking a Project Scheduler to support our growing Albuquerque office. As a highly motivated individual with very good organization, technical, and communication skills, you will work with a team of professionals to deliver superior service in assisting with planning scheduling and control activities for assigned projects. By taking initiative in this role, you will be responsible for working with the project team, to deliver projects on-time (or early!) and on-budget, and evaluate forecasts for accuracy.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop work breakdown structures and associated cost plans. Regularly update schedules and associated cost tracking; identify and report variances
  • Generate reports and graphs that accurately measure progress and depict status, performance, and trend analysis
  • Interact with project team, task managers, operation leaders and financial controller to define scope of work to develop analyses and identify variances from original plan, schedule work and coordinate assignments
  • Assist in maintaining resource usage model and predictions
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive schedule submissions to include resource usage
  • Incorporate vendor, sub-contractor and consultant schedule submittals and appropriate information into the Integrated Master Schedule(s)
  • Utilize appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines
  • Monitor task completion status to identify at risk project tasks to support development of mitigation plans
  • Assist to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project completion
  • Report on schedule risks and opportunities
Ideal Experience
  • Bachelors’ degree (preference for technical or engineering related degree) or equivalent
  • Five or more years’ of experience in project scheduling preferred 
  • Experience working with customers on delivery of products and services throughout program lifecycles from inception (proposal development) to program setup, execution, and completion (contract closeout)
  • Experience using Microsoft products, to include Project, SharePoint and/or Teams
Desired Skills
  • Certification received through PMI or other similar organization focused on recognition of expertise in Project Management (CAPM, DASM, CSM, etc.)
  • Experience working with aerospace engineering/space engineering/manufacturing efforts or other relevant engineering work in the industry
  • Experience collaborating with multiple matrixed teams and working simultaneously on multiple program's 
  • Experience working with customers on delivery of products and services throughout program lifecycles from inception (proposal development) to program setup, execution, and completion (contract closeout)
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to performance schedule and determine areas requiring upper-management attention
