Job Details: 

As the Senior Manager of Collaboration Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital workplace.  The role is a member of the IT Leadership team and works closely with business unit management and key personnel to identify and prioritize key initiatives, ensure those initiatives are completed in a practical, expedient manner and ensures the delivery of high-quality day to day support levels. The senior manager is expected to be an effective communicator, collaborator and change agent and possess the appropriate business and technology acumen to meet or exceed the needs of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a team of highly skilled technicians including administrative duties such as accurate time sheets, monitoring task order costs, performance reviews, and the ability to manage the team’s performance through HR tools when necessary, such as performance improvement plans.
  • Champion user adoption and proficiency of collaboration platforms, promoting effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
  • Develop and manage a budget by allocating resources effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment for technology initiatives.
  • Technical understanding of collaboration suites including O365, Slack, Zoom, and enterprise telephony.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, instant messaging, project management platforms).
  • Deep understanding and use of data, reporting and dashboard services to guide service metrics, staffing and SLAs. 
  • Lead a team of support specialists in providing user training, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with multiple levels of leadership, focused on change management, business impact and supporting metrics to drive collaborative efforts.
  • Adhere to established internal procedures, policies and guidelines with the ability to document using ITIL and ISO complaint formats.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to team and act as an escalation point on complex technical issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
  • BS in technical field, or equivalent experience with an IT Leadership background spanning 7+ years.
  • Thorough knowledge of M365 collaboration suite and/or similar services
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Open to some travel adventures. Less than 10% of the time. U.S. mostly with possibility of some international.
  • Understanding of current workplace technology trends and best practices.
  • Strong business partnering and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in planning/delivering technology projects/services in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Telecommunication Systems and Enterprise Call Routing
  • Experience with Standard Enterprise Asset Management policies/procedures
  • Experience in Enterprise IT Security Standards, Policies and Procedures
  • Ability to work as a team member across multiple business units.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$137,000.00 - $229,000.00 annually.


 

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
