On Earth, we are pioneering molecular and bio-farming, boosting production of nutrients, metabolites and bioactive compounds in plants while providing a sustainable and safe source of plant materials. Our customers are large beauty, perfume, natural ingredients, food&beverage and nutraceuticals companies.

To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate profile in the space and biotech sector, versatile, agile and creative to produce video and 3D content for 360-degree communication. You must be proactive, autonomous, able to follow a creative brief, and work as part of a team. You will be tasked with creating all types of video content for Interstellar Lab's internal and external communication. Experience in Motion Design to animate graphic overlays and in 3D modeling, shader creation (Blender Nodes) and 3D animation rendering is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

VIDEO

Taking brief and proposing a moodboard.
Depending on the type of content requested, external equipment rental or use of internal equipment (light, sound, and video).
Comprehensive knowledge of the equipment required for various types of shooting (product, interview, internal and external communication video).
Set up and mastering of the shooting set with the necessary equipment (light, set design, sound, etc.) according to the creative brief.
Use of various video equipment (hybrid camera), camera configuration, and shooting in collaboration with the communication team.
Internal or on-location shooting to cover various space and tech events.
Video editing, de-rushing following the brief and requested feedback.
Post-production, color grading, etc.
Management and maintenance of audio-visual equipment.

MOTION DESIGN

Creation of graphic overlays in motion design.
Animation of logo and text.
Animation of various video dressing effects.

3D Modeling (especially hardsurface), creation of shader (Blender nodes), light placement on the 3D scene, 3D rendering (preferably on Blender).
Ability to create a static image or a 3D animation according to the brief, with the support of the communication team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Software Proficiency Required - After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Blender
Experience - 2 years of experience desirable, in a communication agency or equivalent structure.
Education - Studies in visual communication preferred.
