Job Summary
The Aerospace Special Programs Security department is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). This team player will exhibit flexibility, prioritize tasks, manage customer expectations, respectfully mediate disputes, and provide on-site security support. The Senior CPSO will act as a liaison between multiple customers, primarily interfacing with Aerospace Program Management and government agencies/customers regarding security policy and requirements.
Work Model
This is a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA, which requires 100% onsite work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct/review annual Self Inspection Check List (SICL), document deficiencies, and submit corrective action plans
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs and coordinate approval with government customers
- Coordinate with the Program Security Officer (PSO) and Contractor/Government Program Manager (CPM/GPM) for secure SAP operations
- Manage security operations within assigned activity, organization, or office
- Develop and maintain any required documentation (CUA, CONOPS, User Agreements, JUA, etc.)
- Maintain access rosters, visitor logs (Cleared and Uncleared), SF 701 and SF 702s on SAP network digital database
- Interpret and implement applicable laws, SAP/SCI security policies and requirements
- Support the establishment and maintenance of training material for SAP-accessed individuals
- Work with ISSM/ISSO to safeguard Information Systems in SAPF
- Provide program indoctrination briefing, security education / refreshers training and briefings at security based events (as applicable)
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise as SAP Personnel Security Official (SPO)
- Maintain personnel security records for SAP and SCI related programs to include the use of DISS, and Scattered Castles
- Manage classified material accountability records, including inventory, receipts, transmittal, or disposition records
- Assist in establishing and ensuring compliance with Program Protection Plans and Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program
- Conduct pre and post-travel requirements
- Process all SAP reporting requirements (I.e: foreign travel and foreign contact) and coordinate the visitor control process for SAP meetings
- Update DD254s and SAP Addendums as needed
- Investigate security infractions/violations, report to PSO, and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate implementation of ICD 705 standards on any program construction needs/modifications to the facility
What You Need to be Successful - Security Specialist IV - CPSO
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 or more years of relevant CPSO experience with a High School Diploma, or 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s
- Current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
- Efficient, proactive, responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills; able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customers
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables.
- Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SAP Directives (DODM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), and Supplement Information system security experience desired
