EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Financial Quantitative Analyst - International Division

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide finance support to the International Division to analyze and report group financial results including analysis of project revenues and costs, department expenses, capital expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
• Work closely with the Hughes Accounting team to ensure accounting policies and procedures are implemented and maintained properly.
• Assist the International Finance team and management teams with monthly analysis of financial results, updates to monthly forecasts, and the annual budget process.
• Work closely with international business group and management to prepare financial analyses to understand business performance.
• Improve existing reporting and forecasting processes and identify specific areas and processes for automation.

Basic Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Finance, Accounting or a closely related quantitative field plus two years’ experience in corporate accounting or finance group setting.
• Experience must also include two years in each of the following: financial analysis; variance analysis and reporting; financial forecast including P&L, cash flows, and Balance Sheet; and advanced Excel skills.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
