EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division to focus on growing the Consumer Business in the Southeast Region. The Sales Manager will be home-based within the Southeast and travel extensively.  
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and build upon an account portfolio of 20 -30 local and regional Hughesnet service resellers in Southeast. Responsible for the sales performance and productivity of the account base and achieving assigned sales quota. 
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with accounts, providing guidance on marketing programs and strategies, and maintaining mindshare to achieve sales growth. 
  • Actively recruit new retailers for Hughesnet and motivate them to achieve assigned sales targets. 
  • Oversee adherence to brand guidelines and business policies within portfolio of accounts. 
  • Assist accounts with promotional strategy including digital marketing (websites, digital media, social media, and content), out-of-home marketing (signage, events) and other marketing tactics as appropriate. 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. 
  • Respond to requests for proposals and other documentation. 

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or a combination of education and experience. 
  • 3 or more years of sales experience managing retailers in the home services market 
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Individual must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of growing the sales of small businesses, including experience directing the efforts of small business leaders.  
  • Ability to evaluate business and marketing strategies to achieve sales growth and product adoption targets. 
  • Familiarity with the states of FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, AL, and MS.  
  • Experience and knowledge of the satellite television and/or satellite broadband industry. 
  • SEO knowledge, digital marketing, and an understanding of the Google search engine. 
  • Professional appearance, and organized behavior. 
  • Prior sales experience building and growing a territory in the franchise or home services markets, with demonstrated success in managing retailer and/or distribution sales channels to achieve assigned targets. 
  • Ability to prospect, and cold call on new retailers. 
  • Ability to create presentations and deliver material using laptop and other electronic tools. 
  • Candidate will handle 20-30 retailer accounts over multiple states. Must be able to multi-task. 
  • Experience using Salesforce and Windows applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.). 

 

In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible to participate in the 2024 EchoStar North American Sales Compensation Program (ENSCP).  The potential value of that program for you is up to $88,000 annually.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
