Join our growing team and become a champion for the future of aerospace! We're searching for a passionate recruiter to lead the talent acquisition efforts at our rocket manufacturing and test site.

This role is more than just filling positions - it's about identifying and attracting the top talent who will shape the next generation of manufacturing excellence here at Firefly. Be prepared to dive into the world of advanced manufacturing engineering across multiple disciplines, quality, continuous improvement, production staff, and skilled trades.

The successful candidate will provide full life cycle support and partner with all levels of management to understand qualifications and cultural fit for each department supporting our manufacturing site. This role is onsite, at our manufacturing and test site in Briggs, TX, just north of Cedar Park.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the recruitment process and execute full-cycle recruiting for positions within our Operations and Production organization, specifically focusing on manufacturing engineering for engines, composites and avionics, machine shop, instrumentation and control, and other high level skilled trades.
  • Own and manage client relationships and interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop hiring strategies
  • Creatively source talent: Build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive research, outreach, social media, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Guide candidates through a high touch engagement and interview process
  • Contribute to the long-range growth of the company by recommending new ideas for process improvement fine-tuning standard processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience working within an ATS sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience supporting manufacturing and production oriented skill sets such as quality, continuous improvement, electrical and mechanical technicians, welders, machinists, and/or production level employees)
  • Proven ability to effectively promote company branding and recruiting efforts through social media
  • Proven ability to source effectively
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, as well as negotiation skills
