What is the role?
ICEYE Business Transformation is looking for a Business Performance Analyst to be our champion for data-driven decision making and high quality reporting, building a performance focused culture through collaboration and passion in bringing our KPIs to life. In this role you are reporting to the Head of Business Transformation.
As Business Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of our performance across all our activities, and to develop and implement a repeatable process for monitoring and reporting it. You’ll have the opportunity to work across teams, getting to know all that is going on in the organisation and challenging teams on how they assess and improve their performance.
You will be responsible for creating material reporting on the organisation’s performance for the Business Transformation and to various stakeholders as business owners. You will also be instrumental in creating forecasts for business cases, using statistical and analytical techniques to understand the key drivers towards achieving target outputs.
You will have a mentality of continuous improvement and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working in a delivery focused, agile scaleup environment. It is a stand alone role so one must have the maturity to work independently on a day-to-day basis and have the wisdom to know when to collaborate, delegate and/or escalate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence decision-making through quality and depth of analytical insights and recommendations for improvement. In particular, you will focus on the following:
- Performance Reporting and Analysis - focusing on strategic initiative related business cases and operational excellence improvement opportunities
- Develop and optimize our performance reporting structure and repeatable process
- Develop our KPI´s and the KPI dashboard with focused approach
- Synthesise performance trends and business performance
- Identify and highlight opportunities for performance improvement
- Develop reporting material in a succinct, visual manner
- Analytical support for various use cases and forums
- Develop business cases for business transformation and/or operational excellence opportunities from case definition, data gathering through to the analysis
- Drive strategic analysis and prepare insight with recommendations
- Collaborate with Finance business partners and other experts with input on performance forecasts and targets for business cases through scenario modeling
- Building a performance focused culture
- Work with the Business Transformation team and functions throughout the lifecycle of initiatives to ensure that the right KPIs and targets have been set.
- Support the functions and performance leads to monitor performance to develop continuous improvement opportunities
- Make sure that a focus on outcomes and performance are integrated into all our activities and events.
Requirements
- Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- You have a solid track record of reliably monitoring performance metrics
- Skills
- Strong analytical skills: ability to collect, organize, analyse significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communicator and collaborator at all levels
- Proactive approach with superior business judgment based on skills and experience
- Awareness of data visualization principles
- Expert office tooling (MS Office, Google) and BI/analysis solutions skills
- Back up your opinions with data and clear well-structured cases.

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:
- You preferably have experience working in an agile, startup/growth environment
- Understanding and capabilities around Data engineering and/or Data science is of benefit
- Work experience from Supply Chain, Manufacturing or other operations function is valuable

- Base salary range for this position is 4000-5000 EUR per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually
