SUPPLY CHAIN

Rocket Lab’s Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers’ missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They set up the assembly kits that enables our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping and receiving, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard. They are the chain that links our teams together, and are critical to our success.

As an Inbound/Outbound Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations teams to achieve daily and weekly production targets. You'll be at the forefront, ensuring smooth operations and facilitating any necessary adjustments in resource prioritization.

In this role, you will champion efficient inbound throughput and impeccable outbound DIFOT accuracy. Your efforts will directly contribute to our high customer service standards, ensuring the right parts are delivered to the right place at the right time.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Independently performs a wide range of complex duties
  • Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job.
  • Proven experience in managing 3-6 direct reports
  • International Air Transportation Association, (IATA) / International Maritime Dangerous Good (IMDG) knowledge/understanding.
  • Strong IT knowledge, comfortable working with Windows.
  • Experience working with a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • A can-do attitude, open to learning with good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build working relationships.
