Duties
- In partnership with the Chief, provides technical and administrative direction for the Administrative Officer Unit and the Administrative Business Unit in the Office of Administrative Services.
- Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
- In partnership with the Chief, manages the operations of the Glenn Exchange, including the store, the cafeteria and the credit union.
- Oversee the delivery of general administrative services and administrative officer duties to Center organizations including office activities, meeting coordination, correspondence management, travel and training budgets and human resource action.
- Oversee the execution of general purchase card requests ensuring Agency and Federal acquisition policy and procedures are followed.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, to include, creating and implementing new policies and/or guidance.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
- Leading and managing change, people and/or work of an organization to achieve a set of goals;
- Overseeing and evaluating administrative functions to identify/implement process improvements;
- Advising and participating with senior level officials in the implementation of policies which impact institutional activities and includes stakeholders.
