Embedded Controls Principal Engineer - Blue Ring

The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will Lead the design and development of embedded control systems for Blue Origin's innovative spacecraft.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with teams from various departments to identify system requirements and effectively implement control algorithms.

• Conduct thorough testing and verification to ensure flawless performance.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Continuously evaluate and improve control system designs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A proven track record of at least 7 years in embedded controls engineering.

• Expertise in developing real-time control algorithms for complex systems.

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with embedded microcontrollers.

• Strong knowledge of control system theory and practical application.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Compensation range for onsite CO applicants is $188,427.00- $251,236.00
Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $ 198,993.00- $265,324.00
