a.i. solutions, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion of delivering exceptional customer experiences to join our Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS3) contract supporting the NASA Gateway Deep Space Logistics (DSL) Program. The candidate will support the DSL Program to provide SharePoint development and maintenance support services for standard and custom solutions utilizing Microsoft SharePoint based websites for our NASA customer at the Kennedy Space Center.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance for an on-premises SharePoint environment with multiple site collections.
  • Translate business and technical needs into requirements and creative UI/UX designs.
  • Build custom forms and workflows using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio Code and Nintex workflows.
  • Customize and extend the SharePoint on-premises experience by using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and other technologies including AG Grid and Apache ECharts.
  • Create web parts, sites, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, and apply custom master pages.
  • Develop and maintain permissions in accordance with strict governance policies.
  • Update documentation, processes, and knowledge base as required.
  • Interface with both the infrastructure and end-user customer throughout the entire system lifecycle from requirements analysis through system deployment and sustainment.
  • Ensure that all requirements and design decisions comply with NASA policies.
  • Continuous education and exploration of new technologies to improve UI/UX.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science  (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree).
    • 3+ years of SharePoint and web development experience.
    • Proficiency with JavaScript.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in SharePoint Designer.
    • Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate
    • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code
    • Strong knowledge in taxonomy and metadata
    • Experience working in a mature, process oriented, structured environment which includes change management, and incident ticketing.
    • Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA.
    • Knowledge of Visio for creating diagrams.
