We’re hiring a E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.

Task description:

  • Developing scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysis
  • Engineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activity;
  • Developing of mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance;
  • Mission Analysis for Satellites Optical Systems;
  • Calibration activities for already operative SAR Systems;
  • Knowledge of System physical and functional architecture of satellite systems;
  • End-to-End Verification approach definition and execution;
  • Writing technical documents, project reports.

Personal requirements:

The ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph.D. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem solving capability, solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data. Open minded to different cultures in working, she/he always is required to use a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.

Language: fluent English, spoken and written
