We are looking for a Senior Power Subsystem Engineer and as Power Subsystem Engineer of space system the main activities are:

  • Analyze the Power requirements applicable at system level, deriving the lower level requirements and prepare relevant unit or S/S specification
  • Define power system architecture from received requirements
  • Define power interfaces among power items and vs. power users
  • Perform analysis on power sources (e.g. solar array, battery, fuel cell, etc.) and power interfaces for both sizing and performance evaluation
  • Define performance, interface and test requirements for the power system and power sources
  • Specify and review technical documentation as Subsystem/Unit technical specification, Technical Notes/Analysis, Test Specification and report
  • Manage and/or participate to technical meetings with subcontractor and/or clients.

Educational: Degree in Electronics or equivalent.

Job Experiences

Experience in power electronic system or power unit design

Strong knowledge of energy production with solar panels

Capability of power analysis and circuits simulation

SW knowledge

  • MS Office package (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Knowledge to use and SW tools like Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic, Spice.

Languages

  • English (mandatory)
  • French (optional)

Availability to medium business trip in Italy or abroad.
