We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who will research, plan, design, develop, and document structural components and assemblies for the AARGM, AARGM-ER, and/or SiAW program.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering AND a minimum of two (2) years Mechanical Design experience using CAD software OR a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience with Model Based Definition (MBD) and Product Manufacturing Information (PMI)

o Experience with detailed tolerance analyses

o **A US Gov't Secret clearance

o Experience with proposal writing

o Self-Starter familiar with dynamic work environments.

o Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT).

o Familiarity with PTC Creo (7.0 is preferred) and Teamcenter.

o Familiarity with ASME Y14.5.

o Familiarity with Trade Studies.

o Experience with aero-structure design.

o Experience with additive manufacturing

o Experience with Machining (Mill, Lathe, Router, etc...)

Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
