We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for the position of Manufacturing Project Lead. The successful candidate will be part of a project team reporting to the Dir of Operations and will work with the PM, Supply chain, manufacturing engineering and facilities functions to execute complex project delivery encompassing all aspects of satellite manufacturing from concept to satellite constellation delivery. 

Essential for success is a proactive, “can do” attitude. The successful candidate will have an unwavering attention to detail. We need enthusiastic team players with a passion for the industry. 

Responsibilities of your role:

  • Project schedule planning, execution and reporting. 
  • Close collaboration with all project team functions with extreme ownership of work package delivery. 
  • Manufacturing capacity assessment and planning. 
  • Manufacturing process improvement. 
  • Ensure resilience in the supply chain  
  • Site transition management. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role. 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Quality experience with proficiency in applying lean principles to all areas of the business 
  • Supply chain experience with EEE & understanding 
  • Proficient user of MS Office/Google packages. 
  • Experience in MRP/ERP systems. 
  • Solution-driven approach to daily operational issues. 
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills  
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver against tight deadlines 
  • Able to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated with a positive approach. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence to communicate at all levels within a culturally diverse workforce. 

 

Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Access to US export controlled software and/or technology may be required.    #LI-MI1
