Based at Rocket Lab's new headquarters in Long Beach, California the Office Administrator is responsible for complex calendar management and scheduling of internal and external meetings across multiple time zones, handling expenses, multi-tasking during ad hoc projects, preparing documentations for meetings, assisting with presentations and variety of other day-to-day administrative tasks.

This is an exciting role that requires superior attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills and the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests.  This role will support the Executive leadership team, with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors.


  • Support managing calendars, preparing for presentations, company meetings and other key events
  • Plan travel itineraries and make travel arrangements both domestically and internationally, including reservations for events and dining as needed.
  • Assist in organizing, and execution of meetings, conferences, and off-site events
  • Reconcile and prepare expense reports
  • Document and distribute meeting minutes and action items
  • Greet guests and assist with special projects relating to guest/visitors
  • Responsible for replenishing office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Associates Degree 
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Excellent skill in full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and other)


  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Maintains high level of integrity and discretion
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision




Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base Pay Range (CA Only)
$53,000$80,900 USD
