EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD. This role presents an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the world of eCommerce and spearhead the analysis and strategies that drive the customer experience. As a manager, your efforts will directly contribute to the product offerings, which are vital to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to create product and Ecommerce strategy roadmap.
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategy and articulate the economic implications of the various strategic recommendations for product and offer design.
  • Synthesize and leverage prospective and existing customer data and insights, to structure and create economic models.
  • Develop customer insights and collaborate with the product team to develop and introduce new features as needed.
  • Research and communicate vital business and financial metrics to key stakeholders. 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of product work experience in a related business function in eCommerce or management of a catalog of products/services.
  • 2+ years of extensive negotiation and analytical skills, creating data-driven reports and using advanced MS Office suite applications.
  • 2+ years working with regulatory and reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written and work well with others across all levels of the organization.
  • Be a self-starter and an energetic individual with the ability to prioritize and work on tasks individually as well as within a team.
  • Have excellent decision-making ability.
  • Be influential, with fact-based persuasion skills (intercompany and with external vendors)
  • Be passionate for the online user experience, follow market trends and implement best practices.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality of matters.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
