Job description

Your Mission 

As a member of the Launch Vehicle Design Team, you will be assisting in the functional design and development of the launch vehicle’s next generation. 

More specifically, you will: 

  • Regularly update important documentation regarding the on-board fluid design (fluid plan, requirements document, instrumentation list, …) 
  • Assist the team in the preparation of system-level test campaigns 
  • Support in the documentation of on-board fluid design decisions and analysis 
  • Support in the selection, procurement, and environmental testing of sensors 

Who you are and what you have 

  • Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar 
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics 
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems 
  • Passionate about new space, curious and eager to learn 
  • Can-do attitude and desire to go out of your way to help others 
  • Humility and outstanding communication skills 
  • Eager to take ownership and accountability for your own actions and mistakes 
  • Fluent in English 

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding of instrumentation and measurement techniques 
  • Experience in component testing 
  • Experience in design of mechanical systems
