EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Networking & Cellular Software Developer in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our San Diego, CA office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform software development in a Linux environment for networking and cellular related applications.
• Design, implement, and test new features and bug fixes for Hughes' router and cellular product line.
• Responsible for cellular management and data stack and integration with the kernel.
• Must be familiar with open-source development and standard practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including software designs and test plans.
• Analyze debug logs and site statistics to prepare feedback for customers.
• Assist in System Validation and Testing campaigns.

Basic Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in C/C++ OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in C/C++.
• Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Python; Linux, Device Driver Development; Arduino, rapid prototyping; Raspberry Pi; RTOS; Firmware level

development; Computer networks, TCP/IP; and Communication protocols (USB, UART, SPI, 12C).

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $118,685.00 - $118,685.00
