The position requires a flexible work schedule driven by system and operational requirements and is located at a field site in Fort Belvoir, VA.
This position can be filled at a level 3 or 4
Job Responsibilities:
Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. Requires strong statistical and data visualization skills.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 5 years’ experience working as an image scientist or imagery analyst; OR Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 3 years’ experience
- Strong communicator and exited to work with customers across the community with sensitive needs.
- Knowledge and experience working with electro-optical data sets.
- Extensive knowledge of TCPED cycle
- Capable of generating algorithms or scripts to address user needs.
- Capable of developing SW and algorithms to prototype efforts of the advanced sciences team.
- Technical degree (advanced degree preferred) in a technical discipline to support image science research and development.
- Active, in scope DoD Top Secret Clearance / SCI Access with a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination
