Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) sector is seeking a Production Planner 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Fort Worth, TX. 

Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers. Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases. Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools. Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements. Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of planning/scheduling, process development, quality, or production experience in aerospace, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment OR an associate's degree or 2-year technical degree with 4 years of planning/scheduling, process development, quality, or production experience in aerospace, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment

• Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead

• Must be able to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors

• Ability to work 1st shift

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Ability to relay and receive information from business to customers

• Ability to travel (10% travel)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors

• F-35 product knowledge

• F-35 shop floor experience/exposure (production, quality, or production management)

• Experience to relay and receive information from business to customers

• Experience with interfacing and presenting to customers

Salary Range: $71,400.00 - $119,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
