Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:  

  • Direct and oversee support for receiving, tasking, tracking, and ensuring the receipt, completion, and dissemination of information related to Requests for Information (RFI) as well as requests for multi-INT, advanced analytics, and TECHINT support to the UFAC.   

  • Facilitate tasking and RFI Coordination across the Applied Technology Branch and its components.  

  • Direct and oversee the receipt and tracking of incoming and outgoing support requests using existing RFI Tracking tools as well as enforce the tools’ uses across the Branch.  

  • Screen and evaluate incoming intelligence RFIs from multiple sources and determine validity/feasibility/level of effort of the RFIs. 

  • Assign RFIs to the appropriate analyst/scientist/engineer 

  • Oversees review of completed tasks and ensures that all responses are properly classified and prepared for dissemination to the requester.  

  • Provide quality control of RFI production data to assess trends and provide feedback/guidance to team members 

  • Coach team in OSIR’s and finished intelligence reports in accordance with division SOP and agency standards 

  • Track and maintain metrics for RFIs and OSIR production to communicate to Branch and Division Leadership. 

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas. 

  • Conduct outreach to community experts and mission partners to maintain awareness of community activities impacting AOIs and mission requirements 

  • Perform quality review of intelligence reports and provide constructive feedback to team members 

  • Manage customer communications, take administrative ownership of team processes and workflows, identify and enforce rigor and best practices, and interface with a hybrid team of the skilled analysts, scientist, and engineers. 

  • Take direction from Project Manager and/or Functional Lead and be responsible for managing onsite activity of CDT and Direct Support Team, to include ad hoc data calls and weekly significant activities reports with metrics. 

  • Keep the PM/Functional Lead up to date on all customer communications, employee satisfaction, and production concerns, while addressing any issues that may arise onsite. 

  • Take part in and contribute to technical direction, work breakdown, and the day-to-day production and analytic workflow. 

  • Have direct reports and be responsible in assisting them in their development and career growth. 

  • Responsible for approvals related to direct reports (timecards, time off, booking travel, etc). 

  • Manage, provide feedback and resolve issues for direct reports. 

 

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI polygraph. 

  • 10 years of intelligence analysis, at least two of which must be open-source research. 

  • 1+ years of managerial experience (formal or informal). 

  • Proven leadership in coordinating tasks across a technical/analytic team. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating customer requirements into technical objectives and briefing customers in terminology they understand. 

  • Must be a highly motivated, self-driven team player who can interact well with others, advise/consult with team members and customers, and recognize a need and take initiative to address it. 

 

Preferred Skills:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or an additional 3 years of relevant experience     

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint  

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to help our customer understand their mission environment 

  • Comprehensive understanding of various collection concepts, collection platforms and capabilities, to include misattribution 

  • Experience creating finished intelligence products and briefings based on exploratory findings  

  • Possess the technical skill, knowledge, and experience to work with minimal oversight 

  • Previous experience working a hard target mission. 

  • Previous experience supporting the DOD. 

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$116,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually.
