EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop process, programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume production line and support production across multiple configurations of assembly lines.
• Coordinate with engineering and design team regarding new process related experiments and provide feedback on tasks performed.
• Communicate with suppliers and third-party vendors in designing and developing new equipment to automate high volume production line.
• Lead a team of dedicated production staff, provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to optimize their efficiency and skill development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to drive continuous process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.

Basic Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field plus 1 year experience in process design and optimization OR Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in process design and optimization. Experience must include 1 year in each of the following: simulation and modeling; CAD/CAM; cross-functional collaboration; Six Sigma/LEAN concepts; and experimental design principles.
• Also requires certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and certification in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
