In this role you will:
- Be responsible for managing a team of EPS engineers
- Mentor reporting engineers to help provide direction and grow careers
- Manage various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Hold technical peer reviews
- Charge oversight & budget management
- Implement lessons learned and corrective/preventative actions
- Escalate major issues to the department manager
- Work with the full EPS management team to ensure programs are sufficiently staffed with the right talent
- Act as a liaison between the EPS functional group and program management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field
- Understanding the fundamentals of EPS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a program EPS lead
- Experience as an IPT lead in EPS
- Experience in all space vehicle mission phases, from proposal through post-launch support
