SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team of highly skilled machinists with a combined experience of over 300 years of machining who will mentor you to manufacture cutting edge components with the latest tools available in the industry. Learn to manufacture complex geometry rocket engine components made from high temp alloys and be trained on sophisticated machining process’s as well as cutting edge machinery. We pride ourselves on cross training all machinist on every piece of machinery we have.

This role is located at our rocket production facility in Briggs, TX, north of Cedar Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order, receive, store and issue tools, equipment, PPE and other items to employees needed for daily production needs.
• Keep all material racks and storage locations organized and clearly labeled for traceability.
• Prepare inventory counts as needed and establish min/max levels based on data
• Reduce costs by limiting waste, and maintaining a correct record of tooling.
• Perform 5S in the Tool Room area, and work holding racks.
• Properly stage, and document Tool Kits to be sent to the Manufacturing Floor

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Working knowledge of MS Office-Outlook, Excel, Word; Data entry
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and follow work instructions
• Work with a diverse range of personality types
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted
• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
• Must be available for overtime and weekend hours
