We are looking for motivated and talented Engineering student in Mechanical Engineering for our Sainte-Anne-de Bellevue office. This is a 4 or 8 months internship starting in September 2024.

The successful candidate’s work scope would be similar to that of a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.
The student will integrate into a team working on either antenna design, payload design, electronics packaging design or tooling. The student may work on more than one project at a time. The student will be part of a team working within a planned project schedule and budget, and under the supervision of an experienced Engineer.
As our Engineering Student, you will:
Responsibilities :
- Mechanical design following a training on CAD using Siemens Nx software and an introduction to geometric tolerancing;
- Creation of 3D CAD models with associated drawings and documentation;
- Participation in team meetings and brainstorming sessions;
- Creation of mass budgets and parts lists as well as support to purchasing and manufacturing activities.
Experience and skills required :
- Having completed a second year in the bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program including a course in 3D modelling;
- Dynamic, communicative and has a desire to learn;
- A person who takes initiative and is proactive.
Desirable skills :
- Having completed the third year in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor;
- Having experience in 3D modelling and drawings and previous technical internships;
- Having a GPA greater than 3.0/4.0;
- Bilingual.
